PURPOSE:To constitute the titled device so that the finish of an image which is reproduced on a film can be forecast, even if a user is not an expert, by recognizing a luminance of a main object to be photographed, at the time of automatic focusing has been completed by a multi-split photometry, and making it correspond to an exposure control value and displaying it. CONSTITUTION:For instance, 250 and 5.6 are displayed on a shutter speed display part 12 and a diaphragm display part 13, respectively, and the maximum value EVmax and the minimum value EVmin of an exposure value which has been derived from a photometric value obtained by bringing a field to split photometry are displayed on a display part 19. It is grasped that a high luminance part EVmax is one stage-over against a target exposure value, a low luminance part EVmin is 2.5 stages-under, and also, an exposure value to a main object to be photographed, which is an exposure value which has been derived from a photometric value of the center part of a field, at the time of split photometry is 1.5 stage-under. That is to say, the exposure value which has been set by AE shows that the main object to be photographed is a little exposure-under by being influenced by the high luminance part of the field. Also, when the exposure value of the main object to be photographed is made to coincide with a target exposure value index 18, a correct exposure can be given to the main object to be photographed. |
