PURPOSE:To register and confirm subscriber data by the basic function of a new service equipment in a telephone exchange system by using a telephone dial to register the subscriber data. CONSTITUTION:In being started by a subscriber line potential monitor section 10, a caller number sender 2 activates an relay, its contact switches a channel. A subscriber number stored in a memory section 4 is sent by a PB dial signal from a dial sending section 11. When the subscriber is a PB telephone set, the sender 2 is restored and a telephone set 1 dial directly the opposite number as a PB dial signal. When the subscriber is a DP telephone set, the sender 2 uses a subscriber line potential monitor section 10 to receive the opposite number dialed by the subscriber, sends a PB dial signal from a dial sending section 11 and converts the DP dial into the PB dial. The data is registered by operating a key 15 to connect the subscriber line potential monitor section 10 to the telephone set 14.
