1. Apparatus for automatic extrusion of a product such as mastic or glue in jet or atomised form, of the type comprising a gun (2) mounted at the end of a robot arm and constituted by a body (4) forming a cage and a projection nozzle (8), characterised in that the gun comprises : - a nozzle-carrying member (6) which is movable within said body (4) and which includes said nozzle ; - two feed and return conduits (10 and 12) for the projection product, which are provided within the body (4) ; - a projection conduit (14) which is provided within the nozzle-carrying member (6) and which opens into the nozzle (8) ; and - a detector (18) for detecting the presence of product at the nozzle outlet ; the nozzle-carrying member (6) co-operating by way of a movable member (26) and a jack (28) with the body (4) in such a way as to communicate : - the projection conduit (14) with the feed conduit (10) in a projection position on the one hand ; and - the projection conduit (14) with the return conduit (12) and the projection orifice of the nozzle (8) with the feed conduit (10) in an unblocking position on the other hand.
