摘要 PURPOSE:To enable an injected fuel quantity to be satisfactorily measured by providing a fuel volume detector, discharged fuel quantity detecting means, fuel injection quantity calculating means, discharge quantity control means and the like. CONSTITUTION:The change in the volume of the fuel injection chamber M2 of a fuel volume detector M6 due to a fuel injected into the chamber M2 is detected by means of the displacement of a diaphragm M4 so provided as to separate the chamber M2 and a back pressure chamber M3 from each other. On the other hand, the fuel injected into the chamber M2 is discharged outside by fuel discharge means 8. The discharge quantity of the fuel can be adjusted by flow rate regulating means M7 and, moreover, is detected by discharged fuel quantity detecting means M9. Accordingly, a fuel injection quantity can be obtained by fuel injection quantity calculating means M10 from above-described volume change and the fuel quantity detected by the means M9. In addition, since discharge quantity control means M11 controls the means M7 of the means M8 on the basis of the obtained injection quantity, in the repetitive fuel injection, the volume of the chamber M2 is restored to its original magnitude just before a fuel injection to restore the condition wherein a fuel injection quantity measurement can be continued.
