PURPOSE:To improve reliability and to facilitate assembly and disassembly by providing an engaging portion which is the only one connected to a release bearing on a release fork, fixing same to a spring mechanism to which an operation mechanism is connected, and disposing a window for the operation mechanism on a housing. CONSTITUTION:A slide key 13 as an engaging portion is disposed at the middle portion of a release fork 12 accommodated in a clutch housing 2, a pivot mechanism 15 and an actuator mechanism 16 are connected to both ends of the release fork 12, and the release fork is connected to a flange 11 only by the slide key 13. A plate spring 22 is fastened to the slide key 13 by a bolt, and a window hole 28 is disposed in the clutch housing 2 to operate an operation mechanism. When a clutch pedal is stepped on, the release fork 12 is turned on the pivot mechanism 15 to move a release bearing 9, so that the clutch is disconnected. Accordingly, assembly and disassembly can be facilitated, and the structure can be simplified so that the clutch can be connected reliably and correctly.
