PURPOSE:To easily exchange a belt, by supporting an output shaft itself in a cantilever fashion, mounting a variable pulley at a free end of the output shaft, and moving a supporting member and the pulley along an input shaft. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate rotating shaft 52 is supported by two bearings 59a and 59b in a cantilever fashion. A cover 46 is designed to be separatable from a frame 45. A shaft supporting member 60 is formed with an elongate hole 61 so as to be slidingly adjustable relative to the frame 45. Accordingly, the supporting member 60 and a pulley may be moved along an input shaft by loosening a bolt and operating a lifting bolt 62, thus simplifying the exchange of a belt.
