PURPOSE:To effectively suppress a noise, by forming a plate transmission intermediate by materials having a high vibration damping performance, and absorbing the vibration of a gear and a shaft. CONSTITUTION:A plate transmission intermediate 2 is formed of a flake graphite cast iron containing carbon and graphite and having a composition containing C, Si, Mn, P, S, a single or mixed additive of Mo, Cu, Cr and Ni, and a residue of Fe. The cast iron is treated by austenitizing and isothermal transformation to form a base structure by a mixture of bainite, retained austenite and if required, martensite. Accordingly, the plate transmission intermediate 2 well absorbs the vibration of a gear and a shaft, thereby effectively absorbing a noise.
