<p>PURPOSE:To improve a bonding strength between a bellows and a flange, by once expanding a straight tube portion of the bellows by means of a high- pressure fluid, and firmly bonding a folded portion of the bellows to the flange. CONSTITUTION:When a high-pressure fluid generated by a high-pressure generator is injected from an inlet 12b of a pedestal 12, the fluid flows up within a passage 14 into an enclosed space 40. As a result, a straight tube portion 23a starts to be expanded outwardly. Then, a spacer 39 is removed, and a metal mold 30 and a core bar 28 are pressed down by a ram 38. As a result, the expanded straight tube portion 23a is crushed to come into press contact with an upper surface of a flange 27. Accordingly, a folded portion of the bellows may be enlarged in size, thereby strongly bonding the bellows and the flange.</p> |
