PURPOSE:To produce an electroforming product having suitable hardness by detecting and quantitatively determining an azodisulfonic acid in an electroforming soln. contg. sulfamic acid ions by Raman scattered light and cracking the same by laser light having an adequate wavelength. CONSTITUTION:A conductive matrix 13 and an insoluble electrode 14 consisting of a platinum electrode, etc., having a high oxygen overvoltage is immersed into the electroforming soln. 12 in an electroforming cell 11 and a voltage is impressed between both. The sulfamic acid ions and at least any of ions of Ni, Co, In, Fe and Cu as cation are incorporated into the above-mentioned electroforming soln. 12. The electroforming soln. 12 is thereby electrolyzed and an electrocast product 15 consisting of Ni, etc., is formed on the matrix 13. Laser light from a Kr laser 16 is irradiated on the electroforming soln. 12 in the electroforming device constituted in the above-mentioned manner and the generated Raman scattered light is detected by a spectroscope 19. The azodisulfonic acid in the electroforming soln. 12 is detected and quantitatively determined from the intensity thereof. An eximer laser 20 having <=300nm wavelength is further irradiated thereon to decompose the azodisulfonic acid near the platinum electrode 14 and matrix 15.
