<p>PURPOSE:To enable a measurement of a plurality of pulse cycles with one cycle measuring function terminal, by holding a held value of a capture register with a register group corresponding to an external signal pulse to calculate the cycle of each pulse by a computation within the same registor group. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle speed pulse and a tacho pulse are inputted into input terminals 1 and 2 and then, into terminals 11 and 13 of a microcomputer 8 through interface circuits 3 and 4 and FFs 5 and 6. Q terminals of the FFs 5 and 6 are connected to a cycle measuring function terminal 12 of the microcomputer 8 via a NAND circuit 7. The microcomputer 8 is equipped with registors with the number corresponding to the vehicle speed and the tacho- pulses and the value held in the capture registor is held into respective resistor groups according to the vehicle speed and tacho-pulses and the cycle of each vehicle speed and tacho-pulse are calculated by a computation within the same registor group and the results of ORing both the pulses are inputted into the terminal 12 and thus, enables measurement of the cycle of vehicle speed and tacho-pulses with one terminal 12.</p> |
