The mobile cutting machine fits on a three-point suspension (13) at the back of an agricultural tractor (7) and is driven by the tractor power take-off. It is suited for cutting up wood waste to chips, chopping of straw, etc. Behind its cutting drum is a further drum with a number of comb-type clipping edges working in conjunction with a steel member. From this second drum the material passes directly to a discharge unit without passing through a sieve. The suspension of the machine on the tractor is such that a trailer can also be attached to receive the chopped material. |
