Along each side of the belt is an edge chain formation (3) and between these edge chains are grip chains. Parallel to each edge chain runs an endless guide chain (6) in a plane along the tyre sides, at a distance from the edge chains and radially inside them. The edge and guide chains are connected to identically long coupling components (5) at evenly distributed connecting points (3.1,6.1) on each chain. The coupling components are articulated. The chain netting covers only the actual wear track, and accordingly ensures the requisite carrying capacity under conditions of flexible contact with the ground surface. |
