PURPOSE:To readily and visually check the coating state of sealant in a battery assembly process by applying different color sealants to separate sealing coating portions in a batter case sealing part. CONSTITUTION:An insulating gasket 6 having an L-shaped cross section is placed between the bottom periphery 1b of a positive can 1 and the periphery 5a of a negative terminal plate 5. Different color sealants 7, 8 are applied to between the positive can bottom periphery 1b and the outer circumference 6a of the gasket 6 and between the negative terminal plate periphery 5a and the inner circumference 6b of the gasket respectively. Thereby, the sealant coated state in the sealant coating portions is redily and surely checked in a battery assembly process, and the manufacturing process control of the battery is made simple. |
