PURPOSE:To reduce the influence of wind on a blade rubber to the maximum extent as well as to improve wiping performance by adding increments forcively to angle in error only at the time of a forwarding stroke. CONSTITUTION:When a rotating shaft 1a is turned into a rotational reciprocating motion with a wiper motor operated by way of a link arm LA and the like, said motion is transmitted to a wiper arm WA by way of a connecting pin 1c and a variable angle rotating shaft 1b for effecting a reciprocal wiping motion. In this case, when a wiper blade is in the position of a forwarding stroke from the lower dead center, a projection 'a' at the bottom of the variable angle rotating shaft 1b is rotated to the direction 5b while being elevated along the side face of a sloop of a groove section 2c of a variable angle plate 1d, and a projection 2b is lowered down to a trough section 2m. Accordingly, the variable angle rotating shaft 1b is inclined to the rotating shaft 1a by a specified angle for reducing the influence of wind on a blade rubber to the maximum extent. |
