The fixing assembly comprises a profiled wall section with couplings to a profiled plate section, to hold a panel clear of the wall. A detachable coupling is included (6) fitting over an edge of the panel (2) and presses positively against a supporting face on the latter away from the wall. There can be a distance-piece between the profield components, of material of lower heat conductivity than them.
