<p>PURPOSE:To improve control stability and operability regardless of the running condition of a car by moving back and forth a connecting member which is connected with knuckle arms attached to a right and a left wheel by way of tie-rod and is moved to right and left with a steering wheel actuated. CONSTITUTION:When a solenoid 56 for example is excited by a micro-computer 70 based on signals from various sensors 72 and 74 and the like, respective pipes 44 and 49 are communicated with each other, furthermore respective pipes 46 and 52 are communicated with each other. In this state, when an oil pump 50 is operated, working oil is fed to chambers 40B of respective cylinders 40L and 40R through respective pipes 49 and 44 whereby pushing an outer cylinder 29 to the formed side of a car for displacing it to a position indicated by a broken line. As a result a left wheel 10L and a right wheel 10R are directed to respective directions indicated by lines XL and XR for making a toe angle zero. As mentioned above, when a connecting member consisting of a rack bar 28 and the outer cylinder 29 and the like is moved, for example to the forward side of the car, the quantity of toe-in at the time of straight running, and cornering force at the time of cornering are increased respectively for improving the performance of many kinds.</p> |
