PURPOSE:To eliminate the need to input patient data with keys when a CPU is reset by providing a means which inhibits display information from being cleared although the CPU is reset when the ignition operation information of a recording means for the ignition operation is detected. CONSTITUTION:The CPU 29 is set the start-up time of a power source after the power source is turned on. At this time, the CPU 29 detects the storage contents of an ignition storage circuit 28 firstly and judges whether ignition is performed or not. A RAM 30 is cleared unless the ignition information is stored in the ignition storage circuit 28. When, for example, patient data is inputted on a keyboard 31 in this state, the data is stored in the RAM 30 through the CPU 29. Then, the light source 24 is turned on so as to enter endoscope diagnosis. In this case, a lamp turning-on circuit 26 supplies a reset signal to the CPU 26. The CPU 26 while reset in response to the reset signal detects the ignition data in the ignition storage circuit 28 to inhibit the RAM 30 from being cleared. |
