PURPOSE:To prevent a wiper blade from being floated at the time of high speed running by starting to rotate a motor when car speed exceeds a preset level whereby increasing the tension of a spring attached to a wiper main body through a reduction gear mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Output signals for a speed signal generating device 1 is inputted into a comparator 3 via a F-V converter 2 for comparing them with reference voltage corresponding to a preset speed so as to output a H signal when car speed is of a preset level or more. The H signal causes a single unit 4-1 to be turned on for functioning a motor control circuit 5 so as to keep on rotating a motor 6-1 until a switch of a switching circuit 6-2 is turned off. And the rotation of the motor 6-1 pulls a roller 10 to the left via a reduction gear mechanism 6-3 consisting of a rack 8 and a pinion 9 for increasing the pressing force of a wiper blade 16 to the surface of a window glass by increasing the tension of a spring attached to a wiper blade main body 6-4. |
