<p>The bags, for contg. various prods. e.g. disposable wastes, are made by drawing a preform comprising a tube of thermoplastic material at the end of which it is rolled on bobbins for storage and transport. As it passes over the bench, it receives a double action of welding with a single or multiple weld as it passes across one or more electrodes, to give an arched shape which forms the bottom of the bag, and of pre-cutting by a discontinuous or continuous knife.
