FILM POSITIONING METHOD FOR TRANSFER MOLDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To eliminate erroneous positioning caused by overrun by making an arrangement for switching over to low speed and then sending a transfer back to the specified stop position instantly when a longitudinal mark or said film sent at a high speed reaches a sensor. CONSTITUTION:An initial position of a pattern 91 on a transfer film 71 is set in several millimeters away from a molding position 90. After a frame 60 is moved to the initial position, a motor 63 starts counterrotating to move the frame 60 to right. When the transfer film 71 thus moves to right to a specified position, a mark 84 for the width direction on the transfer film 71 is detected by a sensor 82 for the width direction and the motor 63 stops simultaneously with detection of the mark 84 to fix the position of width direction of the transfer film 71.
