PURPOSE:To expand the radiation width by arranging lots of LED elements arranged on a base over plural lines and in zigzag. CONSTITUTION:In the LED light source 11, LED elements 1 are bonded on the base and a rod lens 2 is fixed by a lens holder 3 just above them. The LED elements 1 are arranged in two lines in zigzag, the light from the two lines of LED element arrays is collected by a rod lens 2 to irradiate an original 5 corresponding to each line. Thus, the substantial radiation width is widened.
