PURPOSE:To set and register complicated operation mode with a simple operation by storing plural picture processing functions required to form one picture set by an operation section sequentially as the operation mode and reading and setting them. CONSTITUTION:In applying power, when a control section 1 completes the initialization of each section and an operation section 4 gives a command registering a picture processing function during being set at preset as the operation mode, the control section 1 writes the operation mode set at present to an operation mode storage means 5 and it is displayed on a display device 4b. In reading the written operation mode, the read command is inputted to the control section 1 by the switch 4a. The control section 1 accesses the means 5 to read the desired operation mode for setting. When a picture forming command is given from the operation section 4, the control section 1 controls the picture input means 2 according to the set operation mode, the read picture information is sent to the picture output means 3 to form the picture.
