PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of a housing fitting part, and also, to reduce the man-hour by placing upper and lower housings which have been brought to press forming, on a work receiver of a press, and cutting and forming the outside peripheral step difference by a punch. CONSTITUTION:A work 9 which has been brought to press working is placed on a work receiver 11 by an automatic carrying device. Subsequently, a punch holder 13 is made to descend, a work holder 15 which has been formed integrally in one body with the punch holder 13 is engaged with the inside surface of the work 9, and also, the side face of the work 9 is scraped by a punch 14. Thereafter, the punch holder 13 ascends, and a flange part 22 of the work 9 which has been transferred to the next process by an automatic carrying device is cut to an optional length by a trimming die. Accordingly, since the side faces of upper and lower housings 1, 2 are brought to cutting working by the punch 14, the main-hour can be reduced.
