DEVICE FOR LINING INSIDE SURFACE OF DIFFERENTIAL DIAMETER PIPELINE

PURPOSE:To line the inside surface of a differential diameter pipeline with one stage by constituting a pig of plural pieces of pig elements corresponding to the bores of the respective differential diameter pipe parts of the pipeline, connecting the pigs in series and supplying pressurized fluid thereto. CONSTITUTION:The pig 2 is constituted of plural pieces of the pig elements 21-23 of the outside diameters corresponding to the bores of the respective differential diameter parts of the differential diameter pipeline and the pig elements 21-23 are connected serially in order of the outside diameters in the stage of lining the inside surface of the differential diameter pipe part. The smallest diameter pig element 23 at the foremost end among the pig elements 21-23 is substantially blinded and the pig elements have flow holes 211, 221 for the pressure fluid opened in the axial direction of the pipe at the respective central parts. A wire is inserted into the pipeline so as to be passed through the central holes. A prescribed amt. of a coating material is filled into the beginning end of the pipeline and pressurized air is supplied thereto. The inside surface is thus lined in high quality and high performance.
