PURPOSE:To facilitate the correction instruction by displaying a read picture, a picture print region and a print paper size or the like. CONSTITUTION:A desired picture in a film instructed by an input means is selected and retrieved by a picture retreival means (b), and the picture is carried and stopped at a scanning position by a positioning means (c). The picture is transduced into an electric signal by a picture read means (a), read and stored in a picture memory (d). The stored picture is displayed on a display means (f) by a control means (e). Further, the control means (e) uses a display command means (g) to display the region of the commanded picture to be printed and a size of print paper or the like on a display means (f).
