PURPOSE:To perform shake-down of dust before dust collecting performance suddenly reduces by performing shake-down of dust when degree of change per unit time of pressure difference between the front and the rear of a filter reduces below the previously preset value. CONSTITUTION:A dust collector is constituted of a device main body (a), a multilayered filter (b) wherein the plural sheets of the network-shaped filters are laminated, a shake-down device (c) of dust, the inlet and outlet dampers (d), the dust tapping valves (e) and the vibrators (f). The pressure difference DELTAP between the front and the rear of the multilayered filter is sensed by a pressure sensor 1 in the inlet of the filter and a pressure sensor 2 in the outlet thereof. The degree of change per unit time of the pressure difference DELTAP, DELTAP'-DELTAP/t, is calculated by an arithmetic controlling device 4 and when this degree of change reduces below the previously preset value, a signal of shake- down of dust is generated. Therefore shake-down of dust is performed before dust collecting performance of the filter suddenly reduces and thereby same dust collecting efficiency as an initial period can always be maintained.
