PURPOSE:To prevent the omission of a signal and to improve the using efficiency of a multifrequency signal generating part by transmitting the multifrequency signal transmitted from an extension to a trunk line through a channel when the multifrequency signal stored in a memory part is completed to be transmitted. CONSTITUTION:Before the completion of trapping the trunk line, when the multi frequency selection signal is not received from the extension 101, the multifrequency signal received after the completion of trapping the trunk line is transmitted directly to the trunk line 110 through the channel. Before the completion of trapping the trunk line, the selection signal received from the extension 101 is temporarily stored in the memory part 104, after the completion of trapping the trunk line, the selection signal stored in the memory part 104 is successively transmitted to the trunk line 110 from the multifrequency signal generating part 107 and the selection signal from the extension 101 is received and stored in the memory part 104. Thereafter, when the selection signal stored in the memory part 104 is completely transmitted, the channel is established and the multifrequency selection signal received from the exten sion 101, thereafter is directly outputted to the trunk line 110 through the channel without storing in the memory part 104.
