PURPOSE:To produce flows of steam in a steam chamber, regulate residence time of steam in the steam chamber and control the steaming degree of green tea leaves, by providing an optionally adjustable tilting angle of the steam chamber in a conveyor belt type steamer and suitably adjusting the tilting angle. CONSTITUTION:Covers 4 mounted on both the upper and lower sides nipping a feeding surface of a net conveyor 3 to form a steam chamber 5 and plural steam pipes 6 are provided. The tilting angle of the steam chamber 5 is regulated by taking out and in of auxiliary legs 11, etc., and the residence time of steam in the steam chamber 5 is changed. The steaming degree of green tea leaves can be controlled and steaming processing according to properties of the green tea leaves can be carried out.
