PURPOSE:To enable an air-fuel ratio to be always controlled properly irrespective of air concentration by selectively using according to the running condition a correction means for calculating by the output of an air flow sensor and a correction means for calculating according to said output, opening of a throttle valve and rotational frequency of an engine. CONSTITUTION:The captioned controller has a controlling unit 8 for calculating fuel supply on the basis of the output of an air flow sensor 3 to control a fuel injection valve 2. Here, said controlling unit 8 is provided with a means for limiting the output of the air flow sensor 3 to a predetermined upper limit value. Also, it is provided with a first correction means for correcting said upper limit value according to a correction value calculated on the basis of the output of the air flow sensor 3 and a value stored previously in a predetermined running condition and a second correction means for correcting the upper limit value on the basis of the output of the air flow sensor, rotational frequency of an engine and opening of a throttle valve. And when the opening of the throttle valve and the rotational frequency of the engine reach predetermined operative conditions, the first correction means is selected and otherwise the second correction means is selected.
