The bush accommodates the journal of an inserted shaft. It is formed of rubber (1) vulcanised between inner and outer metal sleeves (2,3). The inner sleeve has a control section (4) on the inside for part of its length, and with the cross-section of a segment of a circle fixed to it. This works with the shaft journal (9), which is correspondingly machined along a chord of the same length. |
