This process is characterised in that organic matter of any origin, and in particular from plants, whole plants and plant wastes, after its reduction to a pulp, mash or powder, is subjected to hydrolysis in a hot aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid to obtain a liquid hydrolysate containing all the nutrient components of the treated organic matter, in that the hydrolysate is neutralised after optional concentration, and in that the fertiliser thus obtained is packaged for the purpose of its storage and delivery. It is possible to obtain large quantities of fertiliser by using industrial machines (saws, graters, cookers, vessels) to carry out the process. Applications of the fertiliser: Increase in the productivity of the soil and, consequently, yields of foodstuffs of plant origin and animal origin.
