PURPOSE:To make it possible to install a compressor at a minimum installation space and to miniaturize the apparatus by dividing the support legs of a compressor into support legs for engaging and support legs for fixing, also providing an engaging metal fitting and a fixing metal fitting, and to clamp nuts for fixing the main compressor body from the side surface thereof, upon fixing the main compressor body. CONSTITUTION:An engaging metal fitting 16 and a fixing metal fitting 17 are clamped from above and fixed to a mounting and fixing bolt 11 of a base plate 10 with nuts 19 through vibration proof rubber pieces 18. Engaging support legs 13 welded and fixed to a main compressor body 12 are fitted into pinching flanges 16a of the engaging metal fittings 16 via rubber-like vibration proof material 20. Thereafter, a cutaway 14a of the fixing support leg 14 is fitted with a bolt 15 protruding horizontally from the fixing metal fitting 17, and clamped with a nut 21 from the horizontal direction and fixed, thereby supporting and fixing the compressor 12 to the base plate 10. Support legs do not overhang both ends of the compressor, and can be accommodated in a space between the main compressor body 12 and the substrate 10, thus making it possible to reduce the installation space for the compressor.
