The metal sheet of the invention has the composition (mass %): (C + N) 0.010 to 0.060, N < 0.025, Si < 0.8, Mn < 1.0, Cr 14.0 to 20.0, S < 0.03, P < 0.045, Mo < 2.5, Cu < 0.5, Ni < 0.5 Zr between 0.15 and 0.2 + 7 (C + N) Ti between 0.15 and 0.60 Zr and Ti additionally satisfying the relationship: 4 Zr + 7 Ti > 1.45 + 28 (C + N) Other elements with the exception of Fe = < 0.2, Fe : the remainder. It simultaneously satisfies 3 conditions: a. after deep drawing, no surface corrugations or microcorrugations which are difficult to polish; b. good resistance to intergranular corrosion, particularly in the vicinity of welds; c. good deep-drawability on expansion and additionally exhibits a very good resistance to pitting corrosion. The metal sheets of the invention are employed in particular for the manufacture of deep-drawn containers, optionally polished, such as saucepans. <IMAGE>
