PURPOSE:To ensure the stability of a vehicle and prevent the deterioration of the operation performance of a vehicle by reducing a drive force rather quickly at a high speed side gear position and rather slowly at a low speed side gear position respectively when a vehicle is giving a slip. CONSTITUTION:The gear position of a reduction gear is detected by a means 1 and each of means 2 and 3 detects the number of revolutions of a driving wheel and a driven wheel. Also, a slip ratio between a tire and a road surface is calculated by a means 4, on the basis of the number of revolutions of driving and driven wheels. And when a means 5 has judged a slip ratio as exceeding a predetermined value, a means 6 works to make large an extent of a drive force reduction at a high speed gear position, and make small said force at a low speed gear position. According to the aforesaid constitution, a drive force is properly reduced with due consideration of a drive force reduction efficiency due to a gear position difference and a vehicle slip is effectively restrained. |
