PURPOSE:To perform a more comfortable heating or cooling operation under a simultaneous utilization of both radiation and convection by a method wherein a main body comprises of a heating body, vanes and a rotating means is fixed on a ceiling surface in a room. CONSTITUTION:Radiation from a quartz pipe heater 1a is directly radiated into a room and additionally reflected by reflection materials 2a of the vanes 2. The vanes 2 are rotated by a rotating means 3 and a convection flow of indoor air is generated. An occupant may enjoy a heating effect applied by a radiation, and for example, in case of a wintter season heating, hot air accumulated near a ceiling of a room is circulated to save an energy and in turn in case of a summer season, a blowing air cooling can be carried out. Further, in case of heating operation, the radiation is cyclically varied under a rotation of the vanes, so that a more comfortable heating feeling than that of a regular radiation can be attained. Coolant is circulated across the vanes 2 to utilize both effects of radiation cooling and air blowing cooling. |
