摘要 PURPOSE:To enable precise calculation of the quantity of suction air over a wide range of engine revolutions by judging the transient condition according to detection signals from the degree of throttle valve opening and the number of revolutions, and performing correction of the information about the quantity of air flow on the basis of the result from said judgement. CONSTITUTION:This device includes an degree-of-opening detecting means (a) to detect the opening of a throttle valve, a number-of-revolutions detecting means (b) to detect the number of engine revolutions, and a suction air condition detecting means (c) to detect the condition of the suction air in the engine. On the basis of output from the detecting means (a, b), a transient judging means (d) judges whether the engine is in the specified transient. According to the result from this judgement, a calculating means (e) calculates the quantity of air flow sucked in the cylinders on the basis of output from said suction air condition detecting means (c) if the engine is out of the specified transient, and calculates the quantity of air flow upon correcting the output from the suction air condition detecting means (c) on the basis of the degree of valve opening and the number of revolutions, if transition is made to the specified transient.
