VIBRATION PREVENTING METHOD FOR MOTOR COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To prevent the abnormal vibration of a compressor having rotor of motor shrinkage fitted to the rotary drive shaft thereof by setting the length of shrinkage fitting such that the resonance due to the vibration of the rotary drive shaft can be avoided CONSTITUTION:A scroll compressor is provided with a compressing section combined with a fixed scroll and a swivel scroll above the housing. The rotor 18a of a motor is integrally shrinkage fitted to a rotary drive shaft 40 for eccentrically rotating the swivel scroll so as to rotate the swivel scroll by driving the motor. The portion where the rotary drive shaft 40 and the rotor 18a are integrated has a length l1 in the axial direction of the long diameter section 41, where said length l1 is set such that an inherent vibration for avoiding the resonance with the vibration of the rotary drive shaft 40 can be obtained.
