摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently produce a compacted product having high accuracy by supplying a high-viscosity pressure medium into a high-pressure vessel in which a lower- density powder molding is loaded and pressurizing the medium by a piston provided with an air venting mechanism having a float valve thereby acting a high pressure directly on the above-mentioned molding. CONSTITUTION:The lower-density powder molding (a) is set on upper and lower supporting bases 51a, 51b on a setting base 50 in a pressurizing chamber 12a of the high-pressure vessel 12 having a lower cap 14 set on a yoke frame 11. The high- viscosity pressure medium C is supplied via a pump 35 into the vessel 12 and a sluice valve 32 provided to a feed and discharge path 31 is thereafter closed. The piston 23 is lowered by a cylinder 22 through the upper aperture of the vessel 12 onto the above-mentioned high-viscosity pressure medium C. The air venting mechanism 20 having the floating valve consisting of a floating valve 25 disposed in a valve hole 24 and a supporting ring 27, etc. is provided to the bottom surface of the piston 23 to remove the air in the upper part in the pressurizing chamber 12a and to pressurize the above-mentioned medium C without escaping the same. The medium C pressurizes directly the lower-density powder molding (a) without penetrating into the same when the viscosity of the medium is adequately selected.
