PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily trouble such as IC jamming or the like when it occurs, by providing a chute cover height adjusting device for adjusting the height of a chute cover, rapidly and easily. CONSTITUTION:By gripping and pulling up a knob 9b-2' overcoming the urging force and a spring and the dead weight of the knob itself, a pin 9c comes out from an adjusting hole in an annular spacer 9d. When a knob 9b' is rotated and is then released from the human hands after it is opposed to the adjusting hole, the knob 9b' descends until the pin 9c abuts against the bottom of the adjusting hole, and therefore, the height H'' of the chute cover corresponding to the depth of the adjusting hole is obtained. Estimating that jamming of an IC 2 occurs, when the knob 9b-2' or a bearing member 7 is gripped by the human hands to be lifted up, the chute cover 3 is separated from the chute rail 1' so that the conveyance path for the IC 2 is exposed, thereby it is possible to easily remedy the trouble.
