PURPOSE:To provide a complete safety countermeasure by a method wherein a base unit is provided with a transmission pulse supervising circuit and a power supply shut-off circuit, and a remote unit is provided with an instruction signal sensing circuit and a power-on reset circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a short-circuit condition is generated in a data transmission and power supply line 20, a transmision pulse supervising circuit 15 may generate a power supply shut-off signal 45 and supplying of power to the data transmission and power supply line 20 is shut off by a power supply shut-off circuit 16. As the transmission pulse supervising circuit 15 detects an abnormal condition of a transmitted wave period on the line 20, a reset signal is supplied from the circuit 15 to a computer 11, a reset instruction signal is generated for a computer 31 of a remote unit 30-1, and a reset instruction signal sensing circuit 35 may output a reset signal to the computer 31. When an operation switch 37 is opened, a stopped condition of transmission is detected at the base unit 10 and the computer 11 is also reset. As the operation switch is turned on, a power-on reset circuit 36 within a remote unit 30-1 is operated to output power-on reset signal and the circuit 15 in the base unit 10 may detect this power-on reset signal and then the computer 11 is reset temporarily. |
