PURPOSE:To reduce the pressure loss of a suction hole part and to reduce the size of a scroll compressor, by a method wherein a check valve is situated in a suction hole, and the suction hole is communicated to a suction chamber through plural communicating passages crossing the suction hole. CONSTITUTION:A suction chamber 9a, communicated to a suction hole 9 intersecting at right angles with the plane on which a lap 4b is extended, is formed in a position in the vicinity of the winding finish end part of the lap 4b of a stationary scroll 4. A check valve mechanism 17, movable in the axial direction of the suction port, is situated in the suction hole 9, and two communicating passages 19 and 20, communicated to the suction chamber 9a, are communicated to the suction hole in a manner to cross the suction hole. Since the two communicating passages 19 and 20 are formed, this constitution reduces the pressure loss of the suction hole 9 part, and enables decrease of a lift amount of the check valve mechanism 17, resulting in the possibility to reduce the size of a scroll compressor. |
