PURPOSE:To reduce the number of processes by a method in which a bracket projected downwards from the lower plate of a boom is provided to the tip of a box-like structure boom having a linear form of the lower plate and pin holes for connecting an arm and a tilt cylinder are provided in the bracket. CONSTITUTION:A boom 30 is attached to an oil-pressure shovel body 1, an arm 3 is pivotally attached to the tip of the boom 30 by pins 42 and 43, and a bucket 5 is attached to the tip of the arm 3. A boom cylinder 6 is connected to the body 1 and the tip of the boom by a pin 44, and a tilt cylinder 11 is connected to the tip of the boom 30 and the bucket 5 by the pin 45. The structure of the boom 30 is shaped into a box-like structure by an upper plate 30A, a lower plate 30B, and side plate 30C, and a bracket 34 projected downwards from the plate 30B of a linear structure of the boom 30 is provided to the side plate 30C of the tip of the boom 30. Pin holes 43 and 45 for connecting the arm 3 with the cylinder 11 are provided in the bracket 34. The concentration of stress on a part of the lower plate 30B can thus be avoided.
