PURPOSE:To make it possible to use universal units low in height as both indoor and outdoor units and to conduct indoor humidifying space heating and cooling without water leak in the ceiling space by providing a drain pipe for introducing drain water generated in a heat source side heat exchanger to a utilization side heat exchanger between both indoor and outdoor side heat exchangers, and for discharging drain water stored in a drain pan of a utilization side heat exchanger to the outdoor. CONSTITUTION:A heat source is drawn up by a heat source side heat exchanger 24 acting as an evaporator during a space heating operation, and indoor air is heated by a utilization side heat exchanger 15 acting as a condenser, and drain water produced by the heat exchanger 24 is received by a drain pan 25 and sprinkled to a heat exchanger 15 from a water sprinkling nozzle 32 via a drain pipe 31, drain water is evaporated, and the interior of the room is humidified and heated. Drain water which has not been evaporated completely and stored in a drain pan 14 is discharged out of the room by means of a drain pump 34 via a drain exhaust pipe 36. During the space cooling operation, drain water generated by the heat exchanger 15 and stored in the drain pan 14 is discharged by means of the drain pump 34 via the drain water exhaust pipe 36. |
