PURPOSE:To make easy mass production of hands having many and diversified patterns by printing resin ink to the surface of the hand for a portable watch which is preliminarily polished, curing the ink and roughening the surface then removing the above-mentioned ink CONSTITUTION:Holes 5 and pilot holes 6 for the above-mentioned hands are worked by pressing to a belt material 4 which is subjected to polishing, then the surface is polished to a specular surface. The masking ink 7 consisting of a resin such as epoxy, phenol, acryl, nylon, 'Teflon(R),' polyester, etc., is printed on the surface of the part corresponding to the hand based on the holes 6 and is cured to form masking. The outside surface of the mask is roughened by a liquid, dry chemical, etc., and after the surface is thoroughly cleaned, the material is subjected to blanking with a press machine based on the holes 6. The ink 7 of the hand as a single body is removed by an org. solvent type release agent. The patterned hand having the specular surface and the matte surface by the surface roughening is thus obtd. |
