PURPOSE:To provide the titled adhesive which causes neither thickening nor skinning and can be stably sued over a long period of time, consisting of a specified tackifying resin and a thermoplastic high-molecular compd. CONSTITUTION:0.5-10pts.wt. polyhydric alcohol (e.g., ethylene glycol), 0.5-10pts. wt. Ca(OH)2 and not more than 5pts.wt. ZnO are added to 100pts.wt. disproportionated or hydrogenated rosin and the mixture is reacted to obtain a tackifying resin (B) having a softening point of 100 to 150 deg.C. A thermoplastic high-molecular compd. (A) (e.g., an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer) is blended with the component B.
