<p>Isolation and nucleic acid sequence of a cDNA recombinant vector insert which contains the coding sequence for a human B-cell growth factor (BCGF) protein. The predicted amino acid sequence of a human BCGF is disclosed as well. The cDNA-bearing recombinant vector was selected from a human recombinant clone bank constructed in the pUC9 vector. Recombinant cellular clones constructed in accordance with methods disclosed herein actively produce a protein exhibiting BCGF activity.</p> |
