Roll-bending devices, fixed to the housing, for axially displaceable work rolls, with at least one pair of diametrically acting, hydraulically actuated pressure rams 22, 24 and 23, 25, respectively, are provided with pressure bridges 26, 27 with a flat pressure surface 34 via which the bending forces are always transmitted in the centre plane M of the roll bearings. Tilting moments acting on the pressure bridges are absorbed by the guides of integrally formed round studs 30, 31 and the pressure rams and pressure bridges are thus guided in a tilt-free manner. <IMAGE>
