In the case of an ice skate having a blade which is provided in its upper edge region with openings and which is fastened in this region to a shaped plastic body so that a shoe can be mounted, an eye is inserted into at least one of the openings, which eye can be displaced in the opening and the collars of which eye cover the opening. At least one of the openings can be designed as a slot and extend essentially parallel to the upper edge of the blade.
