摘要

PURPOSE:To record data in an optical disk used exclusively for reproducing by forming photosensitive recording member in all tracks and providing an exclusive data reproducing area in which data are recorded in form of uneven bits and a data recording area having a data field section that is able to record data. CONSTITUTION:A groovelike track 6 divided into plural sectors consisting of sector identifier sections ID and data field sections DF are formed on the disk base 5 of an optical disk 1, and a photosensitive recording member 7 is vapor deposited uniformly over whole face of the optical disk. Signals are recorded in the photosensitive recording member 7 of a data recording area 3 by irradiation of recording laser light of high intensity in forms of change of reflectance or forming of holes. In case the photosensitive member 7 is a photomagnetic material, the recorded signals are read by inverting magnetic domains and using rotation of plane of polarized wave of reflected light by Faraday effect. The photosensitive recording member 7 acts as a reflecting film that reflects reading laser light of low intensity in an exclusive data reproducing area 4.
