发明名称 FLOW RATE DETECTOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent vibrations or the like of an engine, by computing a flow rate using an average cycle of a flow rate signal when noncircular gears of a flowmeter is rotated forward and backward repeatedly. CONSTITUTION:When a power of a power source is supplied to a control unit 24, a control program starts and a projector section 26 ready to emit light. Then, a fuel is sucked into a pump rotating noncircular gears 14 and 15 of a flowmeter 5. When an optical signal is provided to a light receiving section 25 through optical fibers 22 (22a and 22b) and 23 (23a and 23b), the light receiving section 25 outputs a flow rate signal with the cycle varying depending on the rotation all speed under the forward rotation of the gears 14 and 15 while an reversion signal under the backward rotation thereof. Under the forward rotation of these gears 14 and 15, the cycle of the flow rate signal is computed and in all, four cycles including three obtained in the previous computations are memorized. When the fuel generates a pulsation, causing a forward and backward rotation in the gears 14 and 15 repeatedly, a CPU34 is given a backward rotation signal from the light receiving section 25 at the backward rotation and read out four cycles memorized to determine the average cycle. Based on the average cycle thus obtained, a control processing of the injection is done to suppress variation in the errors from the target injection value.
